Harold -- One of my bugaboos is that every CAD file needs to include a "Revision Identity." I.E. "Rev -- New," "Rev -- A," "Rev -- B," etc. Having to make these "naming changes" from the "outside" and then "integrating them" is a major PITA! I cannot describe what an improvement it would be for me to be able to accomplish this from within the "Project File structure." -- Lew

what we really need are folders
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/42085

along with moving constraints/parts/assemblies within the parent assembly
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/42024

    Organizable constraints
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/41908

    keyboard mapping standards
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/42703

    rename F2
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/43008

    Usability enhancements before feature enhancements
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/41855

    coloring constraints? as a group
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/42201

failed constraints to display last working constraint
    https://portal.feedback.eu.pendo.io/app/#/case/42309

this constraint problem needs to be resolved

And none of these recent posts relate to v21 preview.

It's the same every time Max posts such stuff for us - people end up turning the thread into a wish list. These posts really should be elsewhere.

Again, the initial post should answer both of these questions. I don't think we will ever see software developers promising to release
everything that everyone wants on a particular date. It just doesn't happen. Alibre is a continually developing software. For me, I like
it; it has a pretty shallow learning curve; it isn't outrageously priced. Hang in there Max and crew and keep up the good work.

Coming soon ? Look at the preview page Max linked - it tells you the current schedule.

More added possibly ? - more things are on the internal list, if Development and testing goes well they'll be added - but some of them might not make v21 if not ready in time.

Max, I like the changes planned for the Dog Bone. Being able to more easily tell when you have a "grip" on it for dragging will most certainly be welcome, at least for me.

One reason why I just lately updated my atom to expert is that I highly believe this development now. Frame generator and new vault(pdm) hopefully some day...after the some more important things.

NiceNice...F360 is never gonna get these kinda updates(Bom, attributes etc), because AD dont want it to get anyhow in the same level with Inventor.

Hi Max -- (1) A screw is attached to a tapped hole whereas a bolt is attached with a nut. That is an often overlooked & misused definition. (2) I nearly always is use screws rather than bolts. Thus the Constraint set I use is to Axially Align the body of the screw to the Tapped Hole and the "mating face" of the screw to the "face" of the Part with the (clearance) through Hole. I will be unlikely to use the "Screw Constraint" except in the case of bolts. -- Lew
