Text on sketch tool redimensioning

    I want to use this tool to create a letter 'a' thats 178mm high and 107mm widht but I only can supply the letter hight.

    Any suggestion how to overcome this

    Use a third party program to create the desired dxf that you can then import or draw it from scratch.

    Dunno. Not the sort of thing I do. I think Inkscape allows you to stretch fonts vertically and horizontally independently.

    I use CorelDRAW for text stuff.

    I dont want tp put anymore time\effort into learning a new trick for this

    Place the text in a sketch at the correct height and extrude this. Then select scale/mirror part and choose non-uniform as the scale type. Then scale only along the axis that runs with the width of the letter. This will stretch the width without changing the height. You can then project to sketch to use the stretched sketch as you wish.
