Sketch Mode in Model

    This has probably been covered before, but it would be nice if, when in sketch mode designing the part, you sketch out the basic shape of the part, then when you place the first dimension, the rest of the part scaled right along with that first entity you dimension. This would sure help to keep things from going all "wonky" right off the bat.

    But only as an option, my basic shapes are never homogeneously to the wrong scale. Each portion is individually wrong.

    Seems like you've used SolidWorks since that is how the sketch dimensioning in it works. Even if all the other sketch entities are all wrong the entire sketch gets scaled to the new size relative to the first dimension. This video explains it. It would certainly be a nice addition to all flavors of Alibre.
