While working with an assembly in one instance of Alibre Atom3D if I modify one of the parts in another instance and save it is there any way to refresh the part in the assembly instance? I have been closing and reopening the assembly to achieve this because I couldn't see any other way.

I know nothing about Atom 3D, but in Alibre Design you need to Open the Component in question either "in" or "outside" of Alibre Design to make the "New Version" take hold immediately. Otherwise, yes you do have to "Close and Reopen" the Assembly to update it. -- Lew

Generally, having multiple instances open is NOT a good idea.

There are tools such as 'Edit Here', or 'Edit in Separate Window' to ease the editing of parts in the current assembly.
