Hello is it possible to use the measure tool with the section views? I use the inspect menu's section views to inspect inside my model but when I open the measure tool I lose the section view.
Am I missing something or is this just not possible in Alibre?

    Drawing, Part or Assembly workspace?

Use 'Precise Section View' rather than the Dynamic section view that you've been attempting.

Works fine in the Part workspace with Precise Section View ...

Okay, thanks! I am in an assembly workspace but I've never used the precise section view before.
I just have been using the free-sliding plane section view.

The dynamic 'free sliding' views are more just for checking the model (quick look-see) and/or getting a screen capture. The precise views can be used to define a series of sections that can be stored and later shown (plus you can project sketches to precise section edges, faces, measure, etc).

The Dynamic Section Views are really a trick using the graphics adapter - useful, but not the same as a 'precise section view'.
