Read and write parameters using functions. Import and export to Excel. Multiple worksheets. Save spreadsheets into part and assembly files. PDF manual with step-by-step instructions.

    Download from here: http://www.wizotools.com

Andy, will this work with LibreCalc?

You don't need any installed spreadsheet software for Wizogrid to function. Import & export is via xlsx file, which I believe Libre Calc supports.

Thanks David. I'll check it out.

David -- Actually there are (about a dozen) things in Libre Calc that do not "translate" well into XLSX format! Whereas an ods (Libre Calc native format) is larger than an xlsx format spreadsheet, there are many fewer "engineering functions" in the xslx format than the ods format. -- Lew

    Hi Ayaire:
I do like the same concept. I have excel 2007.

Hi Andy -- I downloaded it yesterday (afternoon) and ma still "playing with it" to figure out the "details" as I hope to use it. My initial thought is that being able to "export" the dataset and edit it "externally" would fall into the "good things" category (says the guy who would not have to code it). -- Lew

You can't export "datasets" only spreadsheets. This is a spreadsheet based approach so it won't be possible to export "datasets".

Hi Andy -- Ah, but moving "about" the "Sub-Window" can be painful in the spreadsheet as opposed to being able to do so in a "full screen" spreadsheet. I can hope can I not? -- Lew

    Hi Andy,

Thank you for these 3 options to arrange the interface location:

    It's good to work with!

    Jonathan and ajayre like this.

=SET is not working for me, could the problem be danish characterset and comma separation?

Yes, it's related to the language. I want the behavior to match Alibre Design. How does that represent values with commas and decimal points on your PC? Decimal point for thousands and comma for fractions?

In the WizoGrid the vallue is displayed like this "64,0312423743285" not "64.0312423743285".
Alibre is using "," for decimals not "."
    Hope that answer your question?

@ajayre , You just need to set the locale (use CultureInfo if your using C#, setlocale if your using C++) to the same as the parent system and your string parse (from text box to float/double) will just do the right thing. Localization is always the last thing people consider, but it should be the first.

    Hello Andy,

SET does not work here, too. (also with a non fraction value)
GET works with the system values for seperators. DESIGNPATH and DESIGNNAME works also.

    The functions are
    =SETPARAMETER("Name", Cell)

EDIT: Ignore that - The function names were changed to
    =SET("Name", Cell)

    Hello Nate,
    thanks for your Info.
here's a snapshot from the manual:

no matter, i've tried your functions:
    I get 0 if i use GETPARAMETER:

If i use only GET, i get the right value of 30.

If i use SETPARAMETER, it results in the same as SET:

    Might be another thing?

That was true for the beta you had, but I shortened them per DavidJ's suggestion - the change is in the release notes.

In Germany you use comma as a decimal separator like in Denmark, not period like in USA and other countries.
I think that is the problem?
